*Sandman's Magic - our flagship stallion and where our Curly breeding dreams all began.

We acquired *Sandman as a long yearling in 2002 and he has been our main breeding stallion and ambassador since then. He has been under saddle since he was three and he has been actively show-cased, shown and promoted.

*Sandman is fully registered with the ABC, ICHO and CSI. He is an excellent Sporthorse, Hypoallergenic Curly Stallion and he is considered is homozygous for curls having only sired Curly coated foals and he has close to 50 offspring now, from all types of mares, Curly and non curly.

*Sandman is a gorgeous, unique sooty dun and often puts interesting colour on his babies, along with lots of curls! He has sired blacks, bays, copper duns, sooty duns and grulla. He seems to be homozygous for the black gene (has not been tested) as he has never sired a red based foal even when bred to red based mares.

*Sandman continues his show career being shown successfully in First Level. We continue to be very impressed with the great attitude and work ethic of this exceptional stallion.

We have competed him in an endurance ride a few years ago, which shows his versatility to do many different things - this is true of his offspring as well.

We have attended a reining clinic with Ian Tipton as well and that was a great experience for both *Sandman and I!

He has been ridden him in the Spirit of Life Ride, Ride for a Cure for Cancer and we also attend every year the LMQHB Stallion Show in Langley, BC, as well as numerous dressage shows and percentage days. We will continue to showcase him at breed demos, equine affairs and other local rides to show his versitilty, gentle nature and superb athletic ability - he is a GREAT ambassador for this wonderful breed.

We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to acquire *Icon - in April of 2011 we imported from Georgia, USA.

I have been breeding Curly horses for over 10 years now and I have been more than happy with my stallion *Sandman's Magic. However, I do know that new blood is needed in a breeding program and I have kept my eyes open for a stallion that I think could be the next generation of Curly, one that could compliment my SM babies and also be of exceptional quality to offer at stud. I believe I found him in *Icon!

*Icon is the best of the best, he has outstanding conformation and movement, at three years of age he is already 15.3hh, he will mature to over 16hh. He has BIG, lofty, reaching movement! He also has a truly impeccable temperament and look at that colour!

His early saddle training is well underway and he is proving himself to have a great work ethic and be willing and capable even at this young age. He will have only a good start this Fall and then the winter off to grow up a bit more - training to resume in the Spring of 2013, when he will make his show ring debut.

All foals from *Icon will be eligible for registration with the ICHO, CSI, PtHA and CPHA (these second two Canadian and American Pinto registries).

*Icon is already a proven breeder with two exceptional foals on the ground in 2012. He will be available to only a limited number of mares for 2013 so please book early. Breeding fee of $700.00 plus mare care.

*Snowman is a VERY loud coloured Appaloosa Curly stallion. He is, of course, sired by none other than our wonderful stallion *Sandman's Magic and he is out of a lovely, tall, racing bred, registered Appaloosa mare. *Snowman is a wonderful combination of these two horsesm he possess the conformation, the bone, the movement, the presence and the poise to be an incredible saddle horse and sire of western type Curly horses! From his sire's side he gets the bone, the temperament and of course the curls and from his dam's side he gets more excellent conformation, breeding and ability to be a reiner or a cow horse. *Snowman also has the benefit of "Impressive" from his dam which will make him an incredible athlete, rest assured that he is negative for HYPP.

He is a proven breeder as we are expecting his first foal in the spring of 2012. He will be offered to a limited number of mares in the spring of 2012. Please contact us early for breeding and booking information.
