*Joe is a truly lovely 1998 Curly/Arabian cross, chestnut gelding with a lot of chrome. He stands 15.1hh and is a big and beautiful mover. His sire is *Ne Hi Majic and *Joe's dam is a purebred Arabian mare.
*Joe has a really wonderful disposition, often giving me a little whinney when I dismount! So cute! He is a good trail horse, fun and easy to ride in the arena, he is just a great all around horse. He keeps most of his mane and has a long full tail - in the winter is "very" Curly!
*Joe is well started under saddle, he was started by me, had 30 days with a western trainer (December 2011), then he had an additional 6 weeks with an eventing rider. Currently he is ridden 4 - 5 times a week by three different riders. *Joe loves to work, he adores people, he will be very suitable for trail riding or endurance or quite possibly dressage and jumping, he is a horse that has potential in a lot of areas. He will require an intermediate to experienced rider, but really is a very kind and nice horse. Please email me for more pictures of him - I have lots! *Charm is a very correct, VERY pretty 2005 copper dun Curly mare. *Charm's dam is a Quarab and *Charm is exhibiting enough "go" and enthusiasum for the trail that she is likely a super endurance prospect. She successfully completed her first LD endurance ride in July 2012, really proving to us how much she is loving this sport! We have also begun jumping *Charm where she is really doing exceptionally well. She will also be a wonderful family horse - athletic, hypoallergenic friendly, well conformed and pretty - all in one package!

*Sam has truly excellent conformation and movement - everyone who sees her recognizes it! To top it all off she has a solid, friendly, easy going temperament, which is sure to make her easy, fun and successful in her training. As a two year old she was the same height behind as her 15.1hh dam and therefore we believe she will mature to at least 15.2, perhaps a bit more. *Flame really is the picture of elegance and beauty. She is registered with the ICHO and she is ABC eligible. *Flame is lightly started under saddle and it has gone very well - she is easy to work with and a really lovely, gentle horse. *Flame has had this spring/summer off from her riding training as she produced a truly exceptional foal, sired by *BCF Icon - here is *Indiana Jones.
2010 *Flame produced yet another incredible quality colt, sired by *Sandman's Magic *Simon Says.

DKH Lacey
DKH Lacey 2004 s/c Curly mare, she is a from a Curly sire and her dam was a Hanovarien/QH.
DKH Lacey is ICHO registered, and she stands 16hh, she is a true black.
2011 Lacey produced the lovely, BIG, Curly filly *Shantilly Lace (sold before weaning). *Shantilly is quite gorgeous - she has the size, the movement, the conformation and of course the curls!
I will consider selling Lacey to the right home. She is confirmed in foal to our exciting young stallion *BCF Icon. for a 2013 foal and will be offered as a two for one package - asking $3000.00, terms always available. These larger Curly mares are very hard to come by - Lacey is big, bold and beautiful!
Lacey is on this page as she is of age to put into training. She had very little handling when I got her tthree years ago, but she has come along very well. She likes people and loves to have her face rubbed. I believe once she gains a bit more confidence in people her training will come along well. My plan is to continue working with her and her price will increase to reflect that.

*Poplar's Bijou
*Poplar's Bijou 2001 extreme Curly mare.
*Poplar's Bijou is our wonderful, 2001, Extreme Curly, appaloosa coloured mare she is a sturdy 15.1hh.
*Bijou is a fullbred Curly registered with the ABC and also ICHO. She is a half sister to our ranch stallion *Sandman's Magic - they have the same sire, *Juper's Magic Carpet.
*Bijou has had four lovely foals:
2005 - filly.
2006 - Curly appaloosa colt - *Poplar's Comanche Knight (aka Rocky), he was imported to Austria as a stallion.
2008 - colt *Captain Cruiser (gelded) from an Arabian stallion, Captiwijion, was sold to Manitoba where he is a much loved endurance horse.
2012 - colt *Baron Rouge from the amazing Arabian stallion Aur Mystique. Mystique is a successful dressage horse himself and he is a well known sire of competitive endurance horses.
*Bijou is an experienced, fun, safe and smooth to ride trail horse, she has been competed successfully for two seasons (2010 and 2011) in endurance, often coming in the top ten (usually out of 40 - 60 horses). She has also been shown very successfully in dressage where at a training dressage show the Judge's comments have been "over the top" with enthusiasm for this amazing mare. To paraphrase the Judge said, "this is the horse that all the warmblood riders are going to hate! Your mare is going to show up at the dressage shows and will be not be taken seriously..... until she enters her classes and WINS them all!!!)
*Bijou has been a riding favorite with my daughter Anastasia. *Bijou is safe, calm, brave and easy going to ride and she is also very smooth to ride!
